Beatiful! Visualising different types of trains running along the same trunk line is an interesting challenge. In Tokyo, where there are sometimes 4 to 5 different types of trains running on the long trunk lines (local, section semi-express, semi-express, express, limited express), they differentiate it in the design of the dots representing the stations (for example: ◯ = local, ◎ = semi-express, ◉ = express; all local trains will stop at express stations too). I wonder if something like that could simplify the map even more while keeping the readability still high. But then again, it would probably take it too far from the actual signage used in the city…
