The air pollution in Krakow during winter has little to do with electricity produced from coal. It’s mainly related to 1) Krakow’s location in a valley 2) lack of ventilation corridors due to badly (or non) planned urbanization 3) old heating systems. As concerns CO2, greenhouse gases, or coal consumption, countries like Germany, USA or Canada have much more to improve than Poland (e.g., Personally, I support the idea of building a nuclear power plants in Poland, similar solution to what you have in France. Poland is surrounded by countries with nuclear power plants…
