First, I don’t see the point in wasting 50 % of the article explaining about Gulp and webpack. Why use any of those when you can use Fusebox :) Fusebox rocks and is so darn fast.
Anyway.. it has always puzzled me that Visual Studio developers are so obsessed about gulp. IMHO gulp is an awful tool and steals your precious development time (big time). All that piping back and forth, horrendous debugging capabilities and strange plugins.
Just install node-sass and you are up and running with the sass :) regarding gulp file copy task…VS can copy JS files around using a tsconfig and also validate the js if needed. Or you could use TS, but again… out of the Vue.js scope now. But even better.. if you are just copying js around then edit the js file directly in the wwwroot folder and forget the weirdness that is brought into the Microsoft world regarding gulp and angular hell.
nuff said about gulp and module loaders.
I like your article isolated to the vue js part :) You have clearly a good amount of experience!
