● A new Sekaiju no Meikyuu (Etrian Odyssey) game has been revealed to be in development for Nintendo 3DS.

● Nicalis have teased Code of Princess, 1001 Spikes, and VVVVVV plus two more games for Nintendo Switch.

● DMM Games have announced a rhythm game Garu Metal! for Nintendo Switch which will be at the Tokyo Game Show.

● Capcom will publish both Resident Evil games Biohazard Revelations: Unveiled Edition and Biohazard Revelations 2 in Japan on 30 November 2017

● Cross Function will publish the third-person action adventure game The Girl and The Robot on the Japanese Wii U eShop next week (13 September) priced at ¥1,296.

● The image of the Animal Crossing mobile game with a 24 September release date that has surfaced online is a fake.

● Officially licenced Mario & Luigi Nintendo Switch Quick Pouches releasing in Japan on 17 November priced at ¥1,922 each from Keys Factory. Check out the front-page for pictures.

● The retail version of NBA 2K18 has been delayed in Japan until 17 October 2017. The digital version should still release on 19 September.

● Both Sakura and Male Kamui (Corrin) have been confirmed for Fire Emblem Musou (Warriors).

Super Mario Run has been updated to Version 3.0.3 requiring 153 MB and Nintendo Switch Parental Controls to Version 1.2.0 requiring 35.2 MB both implementing bug fixes.

Splatoon 2 Version 1.3.0 will be on 8 September at 10:00 JST. No details yet on what it will be but a datamining has I believe revealed a new game mode.

Cake-ya-san Monogatari: Oishii Sweets o Tsukurou (Cake Shop Story) works around Miiverse allowing images to be saved to the SD card and to be published to social media from there.

Fire Emblem Heroes saw a new Summoning Focus: Heroes with Threaten Def added featuring Ephraim, Peri, and Raven. Version 1.7.0 arrives later this week.

● Issue #1501 of Weekly Famitsu saw Metroid: Samus Returns score 32/40, Piczle Lines DX score 28/40, Kid Trip RUN! score 27/40 and Symphony of Eternity score 24/40.
