Thursday Update: Nintendo Creators Program To End In Late December 2018, Plus Much More News!

● Nintendo will end the Nintendo Creators Program service at the end of December 2018 and close the website on 20 March 2019. A new set of guidelines have been set for people who want to share their own original videos and images, allowing monetisation (with exceptions) with Nintendo encouraging videos and images that include creative input and commentary. Merely reproducing Nintendo content will not be okay unless using the Screen Capture feature on the Switch. More information is available here.

● Bandai Namco Entertainment announced that GIRLS und PANZER Dream Tank Match DX will release for Nintendo Switch on 21 February priced at ¥8,208 or ¥13,824 for an Otome no Tashinami BOX including game, Blu-ray and other items. Box art and promo video posted here.

● Ubisoft announced that Trials Rising will release in Japan on 28 February priced at ¥5,184 physical or digital with DLC included, or ¥3,240 for the standard download version. Check out the box art and Japanese trailer here.

● Chorus Worldwide announced that the 2.5D adventure game Forgotton Anne will release in Japan on 28 February although only the PlayStation 4 version will release at retail. Trailer posted here.

● Intragames announced that they will publish the 3D action adventure game Mulaka on the Japanese Switch eShop in December priced at ¥2,100. Trailer posted here.

● Bandai Namco Entertainment have announced a free ‘Double Armor’ update for Kamen Rider: Climax Scramble Zi-O with a second update to follow which will add a new Rider.

● The final bit of Bandai Namco news is the Anison & BGM Pack 2 (Anime Music Pack 2) which is now available for both Dragon Ball FighterZ and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for Nintendo Switch priced at ¥1,500 for each game. Trailer posted here.

● The Nebelgeschwader DLC is now out for Aces of the Luftwaffe: Squadron on the Japanese Switch eShop priced at ¥1,789. Check out the trailer here.

● Kaeru Panda announced the action puzzle game Obake na Fune to Takaramono has been delayed from Fall to Winter release on the eShop where it will be published by Flyhigh Works. I should get confirmation on this, but I believe it will be localised as Emerald & Mrs.Ghost -The ship that never returns-.

● Nintendo have opened up the official website for Mario & Luigi RPG3 DX (Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story + Bowser Jr.’s Journey). I’ve posted some of the artwork at this post.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp saw the beginning of both the Jingle’s Holly Jolly Roundup gardening event and Jingle’s Toy Day Decor seasonal event (called Jingle’s Christmas Garden and Christmas Decoration in Japan). Check out everything you need to know here and here.

Dragalia Lost has been updated to version 1.2.1 requiring 2.8 GB with bug fixes. The Summon Showcase for An Enchanting Ensemble will also begin tomorrow. Check out the featured adventurers, dragons, and wyrmprints here.

● Nintendo have published a Fitness Boxing demo on the European Switch eShop.

● Codemasters announced that GRID Autosport is coming to Nintendo Switch in 2019. Teaser trailer here.

Nintendo Co., Ltd. stock increased by a massive 4.06% after the excellent period from Thanksgiving to Cyber Monday in the U.S., closing trading at 34,860.00.

● The Detective Pikachu movie will be coming to Japan in May 2019 as Meitantei Pikachu. Check out the official website and promo video here.

BitSummit 2019 has been dated for 01–02 June 2019 at Miyako Messe, Kyoto called BitSummit 7 Spirits. Submissions have now opened for indie developers around the world so all Switch developers that follow me, go herefor more information (there’s an English language version of the website too!
