● Plenty of new game announcements today at Gamescom with the highlights under Worldwide News below. The lead picture is of Diddy Kong being added to the Mario Tennis Ace(s) online tournament in September, then available to all from 01 October. Trailer added here.

● Cosmoscape will publish the multiplayer shooter Morphies Law in Japan this week (23 August) with price TBD. Famitsu trailer added here.

● Sega announced that SEGA AGES Phantasy Star will release on the eShop in September priced at ¥999.

● Adult Swim Games announced a free Battle Chef Brigade Deluxe update for 28 August adding Chef Ziggy and more. Trailer added here.

● And both WWE 2K18 and the game’s Digital Deluxe Edition are 67% off on the Japanese eShop. Go here for the full list of sales games.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp finally saw Elise, Gaston, Kidd, and the new Civic theme all arrive with the official artwork and unlockable items here.

Fire Emblem Heroes saw the New Heroes (Arrival of the Brave) summoning event featuring Veronica, Ephraim, Celica and Hector, along with a free 5★ summoning event. Trailers for the New Heroes here and for the Feh Channel: Choose Your Legends 2018 Edition broadcast here.

● Nintendo announced that Luigi’s Mansion will release in North America on 12 October and Europe on 19 October. I imagine Japan announces in a few hours.

● Nintendo of Europe announced that there will be a limited bundle of Super Mario Party on 23 November containing game and Joy-Con Pair (Neon Green/Neon Pink). The game is also up for preload with double the number of Gold Coins and requiring 2.7GB.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate won best Nintendo game at Gamescom with Super Mario Party winning Best Family Game. The only other related winners were Team Sonic Racing winning Best Casual Game and FIFA 19 winning Best Sports Game.

● GungHo confirmed IGN’s report that both Grandia HD Remaster and Grandia II HD Remaster are coming to Nintendo Switch this Winter.

● Humble Bundle and Gears for Breakfast announced A Hat in Time as ‘coming soon’ to Nintendo Switch.

● Deep Silver announced that Saints Row: The Third is coming to Nintendo Switch, and developed by Fish Labs.

● Telltale Games announced that The Walking Dead: A Telltale Games Series — The Complete First Season will release on the Switch eShop on 28 August with all five original episodes as well as 400 Days. Series Two and A New Frontier are also coming to Switch later this year.

● Microïds announced that Blacksad: Under the Skin will come to Switch in 2019. Trailer added here.

● Tencent Games announced that Arena of Valor will launch in September with the new trailer here.

● Ubisoft announced 2D platform fighter Brawlhalla for the Switch eShop on 06 November as a free download. Trailer added here.

● Ubisoft also announced that Trials Rising will release on 12 February 2019.

● Modus Games announced Ary and the Secret of Seasons for 2019 release on Switch in the trailer here.
