Weekly News Update with all the week’s Japanese Switch, 3DS, Wii U and Mobile news!

● This past week saw a Splatoon 2 Direct with Nintendo promising two years of Splatfest support and one year of content support. The Splatfest World Premiere (Rock vs. Pop in Japan) will take place next Saturday via a free eShop download which is available now and allows Miiverse-esque drawings!

● Three top games were announced for the Nintendo 3DS eShop this upcoming week with the escape room game Hidden my game by mom! from hap Inc., the dungeon crawler Elminage III: Ankoku no Shito to Taiyou no Kyuuden from Starfish SD and the platformer Maldita Castilla EX from Flyhigh Works.

● The Wii U added five more classic titles to its catalogue this past week with the Wii games PokéPark Wii: Pikachu no Daibouken, Biohazard 4: Wii Edition and Biohazard: Umbrella Chronicles and the Nintendo 64 games Ogre Battle 64 and Bokujou Monogatari 2.

● In Nintendo Switch eShop news: two puzzle games will release in the next week with Addiction Puzzle Levels + from Flow and Super Ping Pong Trick Shot from Starsign. Supposedly Physical Contact Speed should release also. Shephy is now available in Japan too.

● Re-releases announced included Boku wa Koukuu Kanseikan: Airport Hero 3D Narita/Haneda ALL STARS Double Pack from Sonic Powered for 24 August and Rockman Classics Collection Best Price (Mega Man Legacy Collection) for 14 September, both on 3DS.

● And in other news: Nintendo Switch Online app releases 21 July, Shin Megami Tensei: Deep Strange Journey releases 26 October, NBA 2K18 releases 19 September, Kid Tripp is coming to Japanese 3DS, and Pac-Man VS. in Namco Museum will allow for Download Play.
