● Nintendo made the decision to postpone today’s planned Nintendo Directdue to the earthquake at Hokkaido. No new date has been announced. Nintendo have also postponed the planned 4th Splatoon Koshien date at Hokkaido on the 16th. You can donate to the Japanese Red Cross here with an English language option top centre.

● The new Yoshi game for Nintendo Switch will be called Yoshi’s Crafted World according to data found on Nintendo’s own website which I both saw myself and posted the evidence here!

● Nippon Columbia announced that the new San-X character game Gesshi~zu: Gajigaji Nakama wo Sodateyou will release on 15 November priced at ¥6,264. Check out the box art here.

● Ubisoft announced that both Legendary Fishing and Sports Party will be coming to Switch on 15 November priced at ¥5,184 apiece. Check out the box arts here and here.

● Arc Systems Works announced that Kunio-kun: The World Classics Collection will release on 20 December priced at ¥5,800 with the early purchase benefit being Hanazono High School’s Dodgeball Club which is pictured here along with the box art.

● Sega Games announced a Senjou no Valkyria 4 Trial Version (Valkyria Chronicles 4) will release on the eShop next week (13 September) with save data transferable over to the full game.

● The back cover (pictured here) of the retail copy of Hakuoki Shinkai: Fuukaden for Nintendo Switch states “Compatible with Save Data Cloud Backup of Nintendo Switch Online” .

● Eastasiasoft announced the vertical shooter FullBlast will release on the Switch eShop on 04 October with Shikhondo — Soul Eater planned for October or November.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna — The Golden Country (called Xenoblade 2: Kogane no Kuni Ira in Japan) will be a 3.2 GB download.

● City Connection (Soldam/Penguin Wars/Psyvariar Delta) revealed they are developing Langrisser Ⅰ & II,

● Izuku Midoriya ‘Deku’ Shoot Style is now available as free DLC in Boku no Academia: One’s Justice (My Hero One’s Justice) along with paid (¥210) additional mission O.F.A for Izuku Midoriya Shoot Style.

● Scoreboards will soon be coming to the Bedrock version of Minecraft, allowing you can use to set, query and view scores for players in your game, and to keep count of wins, kills and deaths.

● The seventh character to receive Deification form in Musou OROCHI 3 (Warriors Orochi 4) is Ii Naotora, who joins Zhao Yun, Sanada Yukimura, Cao Pi, Ishida Mitsunari, Guan Yinping and Oda Nobunaga.

● Epic Games updated Fortnite to Version 5.40 adding the High Stakes event, the Grappler item, fixing broken antialiasing in handheld mode on Nintendo Switch and more. High Stakes trailer added here.

Fire Emblem Heroes updated to Version 2.9.0 adding Combat Manuals, Relay Defence and more features. Today saw Summoning Focus: Heroes With Fury featuring Eldigan: Lionheart, Myrrh: Great Dragon and Chrom: Knight Exalt.

● Warner Bros. announced a LEGO Harry Potter: Collection for retail Switch release on 02 November. Trailer added here.

● Bossa Studios announced that Surgeon Simulator CPR will release on the Switch eShop on 13 September. Trailer added here.

● Capcom are holding a Gyakuten Saiban (Ace Attorney) event at the Tokyo Game Show on 22 September between 16:00–16:40 JST where they promise to “deliver up-to-date information on the Gyakuten Saiban series that fans cannot miss!“
