Design Workshops — Lessons Learned
In my 5 years at Citrix, we ran many many workshops, based on Stanford d-School’s design thinking methodology.
It was a constant learning experience and we pulled from a lot of other sources as it evolved.
I’ve been looking over all those experiences and pulling the lessons learned. I’ll fill this out over the next month. Enjoy.
- #1 Be Prepared!
- #2 Designing the Experience
- #3 Ice Breakers & Intros
- #4 Kick Starters
- #5 The brains of the crowd
- TBD — Prototyping tips
- TBD — Fillers: Introductions, Warm-ups, Jolts
- TBD — Resources — consultancies, training, online
This was a team experience, and I’m grateful for everyone who came on the Citrix journey: LIME design, Stanford d-school, Rachana Rele, Meg Lee Weir, Renee Flores, Jungwoo Kim, Andrew Day, Anna Prokhorova, Diana Joseph, Olga Dotter, Orlando Figueroa, Ian Patrick, Quynh Nguyen, and many others who joined in the fun!
