FitzMagic is BACK in with the Jets

After a long and draw out staring contest, the Jets blinked first and signed Ryan Fitzpatrick to a one year $12 million deal. Fitz is a likable guy with a big goofy beard, somewhat of a gut lately and did I mention he went to Harvard? (I don’t know if you’ve heard how he went to Harvard and that he’s a Harvard graduate and played Harvard football and HARVARD) He played well last year with the Jets and really meshed with Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker. His teammates love him, and a lot of the talk about him is positive. He’s an easy guy to root for, despite being a Jet.

Well, he’s gonna suck this year. That’s just the Jets. Get some hope, love a guy, feel like your on the brink of the playoffs and fall on your face. They knew better, the Jets. They knew that they probably shouldn’t give Fitz a lot of money. But they felt the pressure of the team and the fans to start anyone but Geno Smith. So now they give up the money and FitzMagic will be old news. Back to being shitty and throwing picks, or maybe just getting injured Week 1. I can’t wait to see the Jets suffer even if it does come at the expense of Fitz.

*The moment Geno has to run out on the field this year to replace him will be my favorite moment of the season.
