Rory McIlroy Says He Won’t Watch Olympic Golf, Just Sports “That Matter.”

Interesting take from Rors here saying that golf doesn’t matter. He also went on to say that he didn’t get into golf to “grow the game” and that he’s just in it to win majors. I don’t hate his honesty at all and it’s fine with me if he isn’t interested in the Olympics. To each his own. But saying golf being in the games doesn’t matter is a pretty ridiculous stance. There are still some good golfers going and I’m a fan of trying it out in the games. It adds something to watch and it’ll be fun to root for your country like any other sport.

I personally think Rory’s just scared of a little Zika and is too nervous to freeze his sperm like Pau Gasol so he wants to bash the games and act like he’s too good for them. Classic “No Guys I’m Not Scared I Just Don’t Want To” type of guy. Nice try Rory, I see right through you.
