me and two other family member (mother, sister) suffer from this. Our local hospital actually wanted to study us as we slept but none of us were comfortable with it. I unfortunately suffer from this almost on a daily basis. I had always been in tune with my dreams and learned how to control my dreams during a lucid state at a young age, but its much different during the process of sleep paralysis. It’s much more difficult to create the state of lucid dreaming if your brain is already in sleep paralysis. I tend to have the reoccurring themes, and “monsters” during my episodes. The state itself brings on a sense of fear and helplessness on its own, but it gets so much worse once you start hearing and seeing things.
