This is definitely true and a big lesson for aspiring writers I think. In today’s world of publish and re-publish content creation, I think the critical question is:

Who goes to this platform and what are they looking for?

That question goes for Medium, LinkedIn Pulse, Quora, or any of the much smaller sites with niche audiences.
