Some good points there. I’d like to throw in a few more.

  • Where would we be without problems?
  • Happiness isn’t a static place of achievement. It’s a bunch of moments in time. It’s a feeling that comes and goes, but one you can plan to have mainly as a byproduct.
  • Nothing is static. The ones that seem so just take a really long time. Organizations, rules, behaviors, the environment. Details apply.
  • One can be mildly optimistic without being happy or joyful. That’s more important than seeking happiness that just keeps letting unstable expectations down.
  • Awareness and balance is the way to go for sure-fire inner peace. It’s just a matter of how. And I’m not Buddhist. It can be universal, regardless of the term.
  • Eat pizza occasionally.

Update (8/27)

One of the main reasons I have Facebook is because I’ve been to a lot of places in my life. I’ve crossed by a lot of people that I don’t want to forget. And that variety of people gives perspectives into life that I wouldn’t otherwise even think about. Who knows? I might even see them again.
