Ive always said that if someone wants individual accolades then they need to have team success. The win category is one of the most important gauges for someone to get a post season award. It was very obvious that Lebron James was the leagues most dominant player, but because Curry’s team was so good and he was playing so well offensively he won the MVP. You may not necesarily need to be the leauges best player that year to win the MVP, but you do have to be one of the most exciting players with the best record.
