Business Owners! Audit Your Circle!

Listen this is going to be very quick today. I ran into a business owner today that spent 3 hours telling me how they have been having problems and their business is not going super well. And, digging through the conversation “which I always do” I found that they have a manager in their business that continues to cause problems. So, for me this was a very simple play “FIRE THEM” and I expressed my opinion to this person. And I kid you not without missing a beat this person looks at me and says “Well I can’t get rid of him/her then who would I have help run the store.” Are you kidding me? People you need to audit your circle if you have people in your business or hell even in your personal life that are not bringing you value and are bringing you down “GET RID OF THEM”. You are harming your business more with having the wrong team in place and you are afraid of having to go back work until you find the right team. So, in closing I wanted to keep this simple today, lean on yourself it is your business. Talent is only so important if you have an amazing employee but they are bringing your moral down you need to get that person out of your situation as soon as possible. And at the end of the day audit your people and if it comes down to your having to break out the old work clothes, there is only one thing that you can do. #WORK.
