We would like to inform our community of an update to our ICO dashboard, which was recently performed by our platform provider, CoinAdmin, in order to patch a potential data access vulnerability, as per an independent report. This was a pre-emptive measure — all user submitted data is safe and we at Jarvis continue to work closely with our service providers to ensure a seamless and secure experience for our contributors and community.
Over the weekend, Jarvis received information from a white-hat hacker about a security breach in our partner CoinAdmin. CoinAdmin provides the outsourced KYC and crowdsale platform used in our Pre-Sale.
The individual contacted us on Friday with claims that he breached CoinAdmin and our dashboard. Upon further investigation, they provided us with proof of their testing and made a demand for enhancing our efforts in finding such security bugs.
We have rewarded the individual with JRT and CoinAdmin has confirmed that the issue has been fixed. In this incident 9 individuals have potentially been affected — Jarvis has contacted every one of them.
You can find the CoinAdmin website below:
Based on information provided by CoinAdmin, no other data, including usernames, passwords or wallets, were exposed.
