Jarvis: Looking ahead at 2019
It’s this time of the year when we look back at the year that has passed and look ahead at the coming year, appreciating what we have accomplished and overcome and planning the future. So, here are our own hopes and plans for 2019!
The year that passed
For the blockchain world overall, 2018 was a year of maturing and ‘growing up’. The craze of 2017’s hype and ICO madness was subduing and better, more mature products and projects were being developed. Many well established industries and companies opened up to decentralized technologies and legislation started to catch up with the booming new tech industry.
Jarvis very much felt this, as we experienced all the natural struggles and successes of a start-up! Our own project matured and became more focused and more well defined. This maturing has been as exciting, as it has been difficult, implied few changes, and required many iteration on the design side, but it helped advance us in the direction we want to see Jarvis in.
We were extremely happy to start our Pre-Sale and our Bounty campaign. Both of these were a lot more difficult in the current market and industry conditions, than they would have been a year ago, and many advised us to postpone the ICO. But we did not, we adapt! We have not spent any dollar in marketing, and are very proud of that.
Throughout the entire year we met incredible people and started new partnerships, some that we have unveiled, like Daneel and Bancor, and some that will be publicly announced soon with key players in the industry.
The year ahead
2019 is promising to be an exciting year for us, with our Main Sale coming up in March and product launches happening in different Quarters. As we’re looking into the year, we wanted to share with you how we see our priorities for the year and what we will accomplish.
Products
2018 was the year for building and 2019 will be the year for launching our Wallet, Exchange and Trading platform. We will aim to deliver all our products in time, as promised and aim to be able to sustain the company through revenues.
Licenses
As we have said many times before, it’s extremely important for us to be full compliant with regulations. We already have an umbrella license that allows us to operate in several jurisdictions but in 2019 we’ll be expanding our scope and acquiring new licenses.
Partners
One of our main focuses this year will be establishing partnerships. Our project is built on the notion of cooperating with and integrating new products and solutions and as we see our own products launch, we’ll want to be establishing the connections that allow us to expand the ecosystem.
Users
With product launches comes the important goal of acquiring more users and keeping them happy. In the new year our focus will be on attracting users, improving our user experience and keeping a lasting community and user base. We will focus on smarter community management, building a support team and more efficient marketing.
