What you are describing requires already being an “expert” in each of those industries. What sets Musk apart is his effort level, which you mentioned. Most people can’t spend that much time, and haven’t spent enough time in the past, to reach those levels. Therefore, I think the vast majority of people should still focus on one thing. At least until they can demonstrate an “expert’s grasp” on the subject.
