Working in digital involves using new tools to design workflow interactions. At it’s core however the goal is the same as before computers existed — good customer experiences. Recently I asked on Facebook if anyone in my network worked in an industry like banking before computers were being used. I was curious to know how things like record keeping and transactions were managed when it was all on paper.

I had the pleasure of interviewing Gerald Doggett who worked in banking in the USA in the 60s.
