Pathways- Ina

My name is Ina Perceli and I currently live in a small town near Norwich, UK. At the minute, I am studying my Chemistry, Maths, German and Biology AS Levels at East Norfolk Sixth Form College. I am 16, and I write poetry. I spend my spare time sleeping, drinking and writing. I am a leftist and feel strongly about all the political and societal issues that we, as a race, encounter and create daily.

Within the next five years, I have no idea what I want to achieve academically. The ideal would be university. But firstly, I want to achieve happiness and full contentment, within myself. I want to reach a stage where I can say I like things and can whole-heartedly care about myself and others.

The one thing hindering me from achieving my goals is myself. My state of mind and my apathy. This is definitely something I need to correct.

I feel like the only thing holding me back is fear and my whole Cleopatra complex mixed with my Inferiority Complex. It’s contradicting, I know.

I want to be someone who cares and someone who helps. I just want to be the best version of myself that I can.

Thank you Ina, number one of hopefully many submissions to the Pathways Project. If you are interested and would like to be a part, please email me at jasmineholroyd@hotmail.co.uk and I will forward you the details.
