Are all the writers for this site contractually obligated to write about Lebron’s discontent and the demise of the Cavs?
It would be nice if someone at The Ringer had the stones to disagree with Simmons, or better yet, write an article about what moves the Cavs were supposed to make with their lack of assets and capped-out situation.
I know we’re at a slow news time here but please, spare us all the lazy journalism of another summer and subsequent basketball season of “The Cavs Failed Lebron…now he has no choice but to leave” dialogue. And while we’re on that subject, how about writing about the fact that the Cavs made every freaking move possible to try to win a championship and make Lebron happy; signed all Rich Paul’s guys to ridiculous contracts, traded away picks for immediate veteran help, paid the tax, etc.
