Anyone can post pitches. There are no rules about who can or who can’t — everyone can. We have pitches coming in from a variety of people in a variety of roles… Designers, programmers, QA, customer service, ops, etc… They are just posted to the Message Board inside the “Building BC3” project in Basecamp.

Also, how do you make sure all possible bugs are rooted out, if there is no dedicated testing phase or QA team member on a particular project?
  1. The goal is not zero bugs. It’s zero critical bugs. Some bugs are fine. Some you live with, some you can fix later, some are so rare they aren’t worth fixing any time soon.
  2. QA is involved on most projects. They catch a bunch of things and make every feature better.
One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
