“Sometimes” is an argument for everything. Sure sometimes this and sometimes that. Most businesses on the planet will never dominate their market — or need to. They’ll never need to get big to survive. Most businesses are small businesses — trying to serve customers and pay their bills. They’re focused on basic survival and they can kill themselves if they get ahead of themselves. Very common tale. Premature expansion and outsized ambitions kill far more businesses than frugality.
