Fantastic post! Absolutely using the first day and paid cleaning ideas :) Having a fully bootstrapped and remote team means we can surprise a team member or family with their favourite meal. We don’t have set hours or vacation time and we don’t track it. So now I’m encouraging my staff to take more time off and do something that scares/challenges them (iFly, Indoor Rock Climbing etc) and we will pick up the tab after they post a pic to the team Slack channel or on social media :)
