Good day all,

Welcome to the monthly Nova Token update. Each month seems to be busier than the previous so we better just jump on in and get to it.

Marketing:

While the bounty programs are on-going for social media, a new signature campaign for Bitcoin Talk is kicking off in June. The team is also busy meeting with many games and NFT-focused companies to work promotional opportunities to get the message out about Nova and the Nova Token (NVT). This will be an on-going effort which we will be looking to expand upon each week to build up more traction. Social media engagement across all relevant platforms is now a daily part of the outreach as we aim to spur engagement with our community.

Some company swag is also being produced (T-shirts, stickers, socks? (yep, you heard me right) and other goodies. We will have some give-away’s and include some of these for the pubic in future promotions.

Exchanges:

The Nova Token (NVT) was recently listed on Altilly, an upstart digital currency exchange looking to make waves in the industry. The team has been working non-stop to have NVT listed on more quality exchanges. This often comes down to a mix of having enough capital (listing fees), community activity and existing trading volume along with the proper legal standing (compliant to regulations before they will add a given coin).

We are actively working with some of the largest exchanges in cryptocurrency right now (Bittrex is just one example) to have NVT listed. We are in the process of having another exchange list NVT so once that is made official between the parties we will be announcing this to the public — stay tuned on this front.

Website:

The new website at NovaToken.io is coming along nicely and nearing completion. To give you an inside-look at what we are doing I have attached a spoiler of sorts below so feel free to take a look. The website will be unveiled soon in lockstep with our new whitepaper that reflects the vision the team and project have now. Take a look at a preview below:

Team

The team here at Nova has really come together nicely over the last two months and we are making tremendous progress on the platform development side. We are still looking to grow the team and project so if you have an interest or know of someone who you feel would make a good fit, please let us know.

We are actively looking to recruit and add new talent to the team and this early on, there are many different ways new people to the project can help us and contribute. Please reach out and contact anyone on the team if interested and we will make time to have a chat with you and find a good fit within the group.

Capital

While good progress is being made on the Nova project, to survive long-term there will be a need for funding. Development costs, salaries, marketing and advertising, exchange listings, legal matters, travel and conferences are among the predictable costs that any legitimate blockchain company will have to incur in 2019.

We are committed to making this a success and truly believe we have a great opportunity to bring something unique to the industry. Thus, a capital investment round will be kicked off soon by the company (NFT Platform Inc). This is not an ICO or sale of tokens but an equity raise by the company itself, with the goal of securing funding to provide several years of operating capital. Pragmatic decisions like this are what you want to see and should expect out of a serious project in the industry and we are taking that approach. This is a big focus for us going into the summer right now and we have every reason to believe it will be a success.

Partnerships:

While we cannot drop names just yet I can confirm that Nova is in the process of securing partnerships with several crypto-centric companies in the industry right now. This is an absolute priority for Nova so that we can grow as a platform but also spread our wings and make some noise in the NFT space.

It is easier to state that there are very few companies in the NFT world that Nova is not currently engaged with. We will continue to mature some of these relationships and look forward to being able to announce some strategic partnerships that will bring long-term value to Nova.

Development:

This is probably the most exciting part of the update in my opinion. Unlike most blockchain projects that put all of their eggs into the marketing and hype basket, Nova has a real product coming to market soon.

We have been working around the clock to define our MVP candidate for our 1.0 platform release. Some very innovative ideas and features are going into the product that will greatly enhance the user experience of using the NFT exchange, tournament organizer, NFT creator tool and the staking portal. Because we put so much effort into the development of the platform over the past year we are in a coveted position of being able to release a working product in the near future. Right now we are aiming for a Q4 release of the platform however this time frame can change based upon a multitude of factors.

What is certain is that we are moving closer to defining the final product and putting our nose to the grindstone on it. Part of the goal here at Nova is making sure we market all of this great work being done behind the scenes properly once prime-time kicks in later this year.

Closing thoughts:

Lastly, I want to thank everyone in the community for keeping the faith and the conversations going. The project had a scary moment recently when it looked like things were shutting down at the outset of 2019. We have moved past that point and are thrilled to have you all along for this ride as the project is alive and has never been healthier with all of the new people showing up.

Which leads me to you. Yes, you, reading this. We can certainly use your help and sights right now so please feel free to reach out to myself personally or anyone else on the team. We are in the “all hands on deck” phase of the project now as we push to get our initial product release out. Every singe contribution made right now carries considerable weight and you may very well have an impact on the evolution story of online gaming.

We want to hear from you and I am looking forward to getting to know more of our great community as we progress forward into the second half of 2019! — Jason Cassidy, CEO
