Nova Token update — September 2019
Good day,
Time truly does fly by when you are having a good time, which is the case for us here at NovaToken HQ. Another month has come and gone and there is plenty of good things to discuss so let us get to it.
Marketing:
September was a month full of opportunity to gain more NovaToken as the Altilly trade competition wraps up. This has been a success for us and as such we are going to keep the good times rolling. Starting in early October we will be working with Altcoin Fantasy to bring more opportunities to earn NVT via another trading competition. This will be hosted by Altcoin Fantasy so please stay tuned for news on this early next month.
We will also have some other promotional material going out including some press releases and articles in established crypto publications to help get the word out on NovaToken. And finally, we will begin reaching out to the Blockfolio community via Signal updates on NovaToken. One simply needs to add the NovaToken (NVT) token to your Blockfolio account and you will receive Signal updates on all NovaToken news going forward.
Whitepaper
The website has been updated and while a few cosmetic touches are being applied the focus has shifted to updating and published our new whitepaper. This will clearly reflect the new focus and goals of the project, giving new users a clear vision of what the NovaToken platform is and why the team feels so passionately about blockchain gaming and non-fungible tokens.
We will update you once the new whitepaper has been released as it will have a litany of quality information on the project, with a slant towards being developer focused as we begin to court games to join our platform in 2020.
Team:
Each month the NovaToken team seems to grow larger and thus, stronger. This month is no exception as it pleases me to announce the addition of Roland Alexander to the team. Roland is going to be helping the team in a number of ways, specifically in business development and marketing. Having a presence over in Africa, Roland will be serving as our main resource to help build up the platform in the MENA region.
Roland has been involved in blockchain for several years now and has built a solid reputation for being one of the most knowledgeable and passionate early adopters of the technology. He has worked with heads of state, companies and various individuals through the various countries in Africa and will help us break into the singe biggest untapped market for blockchain adoption in the World.
Finally, we are currently in discussions with several talented individuals in the traditional gaming and blockchain gaming space to join our advisory board. The goal is to build an elite group of experts who actively work with us to offer guidance in their areas of expertise, be that enterprise, e-sports, blockchain or all of the above.
Partnerships:
This month marked the first official partnership for NovaToken when we recently announced us joining forces with Digitible. Digitible is a high-end NFT curator that focuses on creating unique lines of rare and highly collectible digital collectibles.

Development:
By far the area we are putting the most resources into and are still in need of additional help, development of the platform is coming along steadily. We are two work tracts in our development team for the platform, split between server-based work and API-based work.
Currently we are on target to complete the NovaToken platform MVP (minimal viable product) sometime early into 2020. The platform is the main value proposition we are offering so our focus is on finishing development, testing and then deployment of the platform.
There are many areas we are still looking for assistance in regarding development so if you have a background in coding and wish to help out and learn the in’s and out’s of blockchain gaming, please reach out to us. By far, the most important area right now for the team is finding the required resources to finish the platform so we can begin on-boarding games. Post-MVP release will be begin doing development-focused updates on the various areas of the eco-system (platform and rewards system as well as a few other surprises we have tucked away for future releases).
Closing thoughts:
There are so many moving parts to running an effective blockchain company, it can sometimes be hard to keep track of. We are constantly working towards improving our exchange listings, market cap, team size, investment capital and several other areas. From a community perspective, once we have made material progress in these areas we will be updating you all. So if you do not see a specific area of the project mentioned month to month it is because we are working towards achieving another goal for us and want to update everyone only once we have something worthwhile to share.
Many projects have suffered the fate of spending all of their operating capital on getting to the top exchanges, which can utterly drain a start-ups resources. While we do have plans to secure top exchange listings in the future, getting on an exchange like Binance alone will not raise the market cap of the coin long term. The only way to build a robust market and community around the project is to deliver results that inspire people to use our product.
Simply put, there needs to be true utility to drive demand for NVT. Until have had the time to make traction towards this goal, there will be some ups and downs which virtually every cryptocurrency is experiencing in these market conditions.
