Hmm… I’m not sure I see your point. It seems like this line of logic reduces historical and systematic efforts of oppression to a rhetorical and political maneuver to make some people feel bad. I think if implied shame is the greatest of your worries, that’s pretty lucky.

I also have a big issue with claiming there’s been a creation of “victim classes” without examining the very real victimization that has and continues to occur. But that’s me.
