Day 5 Alive

My investment in my sobriety took me to the Portland neighborhood bright and early this morning. And man what a great start to the day it was. Getting out of our comfort zone is how we grow and change as people. And as I’m doing things differently I decided to expand my neighborhood. And you know what I found?

Stuff.

That’s what is so encouraging for me (and for anyone else that is striving to be better) is that when you look in the right places, no matter where you are in the world, there are other people looking to make improvements. And we can learn from anyone. At any time. A friend told me a while back that anytime 2 or more people come together you have an event. I think that goes back even further to the Bible, which says something along the lines of when two or more gather in His name, then He is there with them.

I felt God this morning. And it was fantastic.
