Hi. I am Jason Williams. I am a Journalist and News reporter. My passion is to discover new talents in this world and to find Initiatives to love to present them with my words and now I reach Nagpur in India. Nagpur is the third largest city and the winter capital of the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is the 13th largest Indian city by population.
Now, let’s meet A Boy from Nagpur (India) who is a young Programmer, Machine Learning Enthusiast and A social Activist from the heart. His Name is Ansh Dhomne.

Ansh is so much passionate about technology. He loves to innovate and discover new possible ways to help peoples through technology. He launched his first app at the age of 16.

He created a mobile app which let people’s to donate food instead of wasting in a new way, App name is “Chalo Khushiyan Batein” (Let’s Spread Happiness) for a society named Five Fold Maitri Society founder of the society Mr. Aman Bharadwaj ( Ansh’s elder brother) and President Mr.Rajneesh Khandagale. We asked Ansh how did he came up with the idea for creating an app which let peoples donate food instead of wasting it. He told us that this idea had come from his elder’s brother and he told us he got inspired by his brother’s thought and As you know Food waste is something that affects us all. It happens anywhere where food has a presence. The grocery store, restaurants, in our homes, at schools, on farms, in production and even in transportation. It affects people everywhere; those living oceans away and those that share our borders.

And Indians waste as much food as the whole of United Kingdom consumes — a statistic that may not so much indicative of our love of surfeit, as it is of our population. Still, food wastage is an alarming issue in India. Our street and garbage bins, landfills have sufficient proof to prove it.
Weddings, canteens, hotels, social and family functions, households spew out so much food. Up to 40% of the food produced in India is wasted. About 21 million tonnes of wheat are wasted in India and 50% of all food across the world meets the same fate and never reaches the needy. In fact, according to the agriculture ministry, INR 50,000 crores worth of food produced is wasted every year in the country.

And Every year or should I say Every day many people’s die just because they don’t get food to eat. We should get aware of this and instead of wasting food we should feed to others. Under keeping everything in mind we created this App. Now let’s hear how the application works in words of Mr. Ansh. When you download the application for the first time you have to go through the process of registration. After successfully registering yourself, you have to do login and after that, you will be prompted to the main screen. There you can find Donate Button which will open the food donation page where you have to select the food which you have and then send it. Suppose If you have prepared the food for 5 people’s and only 4 ate it. And you left with one person food. & Instead of throwing it just open the app and select the food from the list in the food donation section and just hit on done. It will send us your request with the location and then in 30 minutes our team will come to your home and pack the packets of food and then we will donate it to the roadside people’s. Link of the application https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ansh.dhomne.chalokhushiyan_bataein_userapp&hl=en. And then we asked how you guys are working in this busy world. and Then He, Replied with a smile. Yes, it’s true we are working for humanity in this busy world. He told us that his inspiration for this work is his elder bro (Mr. Aman Bharadwaj) and our Volunteers are no ordinary peoples. We have peoples from every field like business, IT, college principal, medical. We are doing this work for humanity with hard work and dedication. This application is just for India at the moment. But we are expanding our team.

At last, I would like to say a big Salute to this Young Boy and His Elder brother and the team of “Chalo Khushiyan Batein” who are doing this godly work. We are looking forward to having this app and its team in the USA. May God Bless you all.
