Good morning my dear students and my people of Ranchi (Jharkhand). Hope that you all have enjoyed a lot during Dusherra and are desperately waiting for Dipawali. May God Bless you all and love you all.
Let’s start
The seed was planted when we the 3 IT engineering students were frustrated just because the college structure was not giving us ample opportunities to grow our IT skills. We always wondered why the colleges were teaching theories most of the time? why the 90 percent of exam’s structure were based on theories? why no one was giving the knowledge of current market requirement(at that time) instead of teaching most outdated version of languages and all? But the most important question was “ why we had to come so far away from home just to learn the theories? why it couldn't be done back home only? Why there was not any institute/college to help us learn the things at low cost but in a more effective way? Though opening up a engineering college is a distant dream but The dream of setting up an application oriented IT training institute has taken the shape now.Thanks to ALL INDIA IT ASSOCIATION, OF COURSE.
The reason we are here is that we believe that questions asked by us , must not be asked by anyone else in days to come. The reason was enough to leave the things(JOBs)that we were doing. The reason was enough to leave the MBA after cracking up some top colleges. The reason was enough to unite us. It was enough to drive us with a motivation of setting up an IT training Institute in Ranchi, unique in a way it would train the students of Ranchi, Bokaro, Jamshedpur and rest of the Jharkhand. We(with AIITA)all are driven by just one passion and that is the passion to make you all aware of the POTENTIAL OF Information Technology and Shape up the Future of youths of Jharkhand in the field of Information Technology. We knew that if we would have opened up in the IT cities of India, there would have been hundreds of students lining up for our courses from the first day of institute opening, but this is not a business but an IT awareness program that we intend to do and those cities are not my targeted place. This is our passion and this is our home and you are our students, you are the shadow of our past years and we make sure that you all do not face the problems of incomplete knowledge that we faced during our college days. We have gone through the problems that many of you will be facing for now and days ahead. So we are here with a vision to make this place a hub of trained and skilled students and then assist them in several ways( from placement to having their own start-up).
So in process to bring our passion, ideas and reasoning to reality we decided to come up with an IT training institute in Ranchi, where the theoretical methodology of teaching would take the back seat and application oriented training methodology would come to the front from the day 1 only. Even if there would be taught some basic languages like C, Java , HTML ,CSS , these would be taught in a practical manner with giving the students the know how of their usage as well rather than just teaching the theories and some addition and subtraction programmings. The IT training institute “ and the AIITA study center of Ranchi, i.e” The CodersFactory” truly believes that if anyone has to make a bright career in the field of Information Technology , then he/she must learn the usage of programming languages, must learn the latest tools, must be aware of the current market trend and must acquire the soft skills too.Learning bookish Gyan and scoring good in college’s exams are just first stride taken towards success, We must learn the application of everything we study because then only our demand in market will increase significantly.
Let’s see the model of our IT training and placement program:-
- Project based training approach would be applied from the first class only. No need to learn the things from book at first and then do it practically. Most of the books are nothing but Crap.
- At first small projects from our side would be given to the students and we would help them in doing so, after that they would be asked to take up an idea if their own and then do the project on that. So here teaching, thinking,learning will go hand on hand.
- More emphasis would be given on learning the tracks, i.e the mobile development track or the web development track. Cz knowing or doing only one language for certification is not not not enough. It’s ZERO.
- Apart from technical skills, soft skills would also be taught to the students in order to make them a complete IT package. Because the there is so much competition in the market that knowing IT skills only would be less for a stable career.
- There would be weekend fun and interactive sessions, online game sessions as well just to keep us all motivated and energetic.
- After the training programs , we would make you ready for the placements. Aptitude tests and technical tests would be conducted. Interview sessions would be performed. After that interview calls would be given to the students from several companies.
- After completing each course or track ,an exam would be conducted for providing AIITA certifications as well.
Let’s Deviate for a while now:-
I remember that one of the colleges in Ranchi teaches Pascal to the students of third year of the computer science department. I was shocked…can you believe that…. Pascal to the third year students in 21st century. So this is the current scenario of level of IT training in Jharkhand ,my students. Reading and writing accordingly to college’s teachers would land the students no where but just to 1 or 2 year of struggle in Bangalore or Pune and there too after knowing the current market requirements , the students would enroll themselves in a training institute where the ransom amount of money would be charged from them and at last a certificates would be awarded to them but no skills. How about acquiring skills and at the same time getting awarded by ALL INDIA IT ASSOCIATION’S CERTIFICATE through us only.I will write on the scenarios of what happens to the students, when they go to Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Pune etc looking out for jobs in my next blog. And yes it may break the heart of many students but it will be harsh truth and “Sach To Kadwa Hota hi Hai”.
Let’s COME AGAIN:-
So we will always be with the students, from the seminars till they land at the companies’ doors for the interview. But before that, A huge and honest efforts would be required from our side to take us all there. We will have to forget the books and all. Laptops and desktops will be our learning tools from now on. Remember All, Application Oriented Learning is the Only Mantra. The purpose is single. There must be something good for the future of IT students in Ranchi and Jharkhand too. Students must be made aware of the term “ Startup”. The students must be made aware of the fact that Information Technology has wider dimensions apart from just getting placed. The Power of Information Technology must be known to all of us. And yes! there is no need to pay 20 thousand, 30 thousand or even more to get professionally trained in IT domain. It comes at very low cost cz it’s not any Kohinoor , it’s just knowledge , ain’t a business. So my students let us help you all in“ Getting Trained Getting Placed”. This is not just an IT training Institute , but an IT awareness center.
