Alexis Aguirre also known as “K.i.d. Fashion” is a fashion designer, actor, creative, & recording artist. He is a first-generation Mexican-American who loves pushing the boundaries of all his professions. He’s been making music since 17 years old, Now being ‘25’ he has finally developed his primary sound for the music of “Latin Pop / Latin Pop Funk.”

Growing up K.I.D. Fashion listened to a lot of Spanish music in the household, but he always gravitated towards Pop Music. More specifically, Michael Jackson’s style of Pop Music. He loves both styles so much that he wanted to make his own version of Pop/Funk music in Spanish and truly has been perfecting the sound ever since the commencement of his music career. Over the years he has released multiple singles — He recently released his first EP: “Pop Fashion,” it is a five song project that is all Latin Pop/Funk.

“Pop Fashion” was important for me to release to finally show to the world what my sound is all about. The project musically & creatively exemplifies who I am. When developing the title for my EP I wanted to incorporate a double entendre to the name that described me and my sound; something catchy & unique — that is why I named it “Pop Fashion.” — Says K.I.D. Fashion

To no surprise it is similar to common phrases such as Pop Culture, Pop Music, etc. I made all the marketing posts for my project, came up with the concept for the cover art creatively, ran small ads for it, & manage my Instagram page to give it the aesthetic it has. These are a few of my many accomplishments I am truly proud of. — Says K.I.D. Fashion

I will continue building my image the way I have been until I can work with larger teams to execute more of my ideas without limitations. I’ve also been the creative director for my music videos including “Versace Robe,” that has an acting skit before & after the video. My music video “Groove it” has 70’s inspired filming techniques I wanted — all ideas I curated & put together teams to execute such ideas. — Says K.I.D. Fashion

My videographer & co-director for all of my music videos has been the talented “Manny Gonzalez.” He is a visionary in making films, music videos, & taking photos. He has been my go to for all my music videos thus far because he loves film & I like making all my videos feel like movies. He is extremely knowledgeable about cameras, lights, angles, executing someone’s vision, or even just elevating it — I could go on & on but if you check out his Instagram page (@mannygonzalez_) his catalog speaks for itself. Additionally, I made a behind the scenes video for my most recent music video “Groove it” showing the process and vibes of everything while on set giving a glimpse into the “FASHION” life. — Says K.I.D. Fashion

I think this piece of context is very important for the fans to be able to see and connect with — as if they were there — I am very proud of this and will continue to do so. In each video I incorporate my fashion sense & brand, wearing a head to toe matching leisure suit with my AA belt I personally designed. It’s all about image presentation for me, so I want to continue adding my fashion elements that I believe makes me stand out. — Says K.I.D. Fashion

I’ve worked with a few different producers; from outside the country, who work on Pop Funk style sounds & also a few House/Techno beats. I’d like to eventually have runway shows with my clothing brand that only use my music, and to me House/Techno music is perfect for that. This is one of the main reasons why I also dabble in the House/Techno genre. All the producers I work with are amazing, but two of them stood out to me the most. These include “MarckoBrand” & “RexBeats6865” (on YouTube). — Says K.I.D. Fashion

When I first reached out to these producers mentioned I didn’t realize they were both Latino and also fellow collaborators with one another. They both make Pop/Funk beats. So, when they saw I was making that style of music in Spanish we all just kind of hit it off and developed an organic relationship working on multiple tracks with one another; some released, & some in the vault. To me, having an organic relationship is very important when it comes to music or anything creative. — Says K.I.D. Fashion

As a result my main music engineer is my best friend, “Adrian Cendejas.” He is a talented individual who has been making music his entire life, & has helped guide me into understanding some of the technicalities of music. As far as features go; vocally, I’ve done only two features simply because of wanting to build my image exactly how I want. — Says K.I.D. Fashion

I wanted to set my foundation first; which is why I didn’t collaborate with a lot of artists early on, but now having my foundation set I am open to features that come my way organically. You may be wondering why my artist name is K.i.d. Fashion, & why I spell it that way. Fashion in K.i.d. Fashion completes the acronym that is my artist name: Kid, into, designing, Fashion. Like I mentioned before; image is very important to me, if not everything. — Says K.I.D. Fashion

I want to be able to stand out and show something refreshing to both the music & fashion industry, shocking the world with what I bring — the brand I am building will be all Mexican made to showcase the craftsmanship of where my heritage is rooted. Alexis Aguirre will be amongst its own High End Fashion class, once I am able to produce all the designs I have. — Says K.I.D. Fashion

I plan on using my music & creative direction to showcase everything about me and my brand creatively. Last but not least! New single “Paraíso” releasing Valentines Day (February 14th) for anyone trying to get in that year round partying vacation mood. Pa pa Paraíso! — Says K.I.D. Fashion
