Though there are many secrets for inner peace as you are opened to everything but expect less, kindness, positive attitude, worship of God and never give up strategy but kindness is the most precious and valuable way to get inner calmness. All the qualities of being friendly, generous, affection, concern and care are associated with the kindness. I’ve to tell my five kindness stories which encourage me more to help others voluntarily.

  1. A cup of tea:

It is my bad habit that I always leave hostel just 10 minutes before the start of Amal session and it takes 10 minutes to reach in classroom so there is no margin of delay for any reason. One day when I leave hostel for Amal class, all the rickshaw drivers were taking tea. I forced one driver to hurry up so that I could go on time. He was so kind that he throw his full cup of tea in dustbin and said you will be on time so don’t you worry. It was so unexpected and embarrassing for me. After two or three days, I found him and offered him a cup of tea with biscuits. He seemed so happy and encouraged after having this small treat.

2. Hospital visit

In a very busy and tough week, I got a call from aunty that my cousin was in hospital and she was alone with him. She requested me to come for moral support so I postponed my research reaction and go there for any kind of help.

3. Cousin’s pick and drop

In hospital, my another cousin called me for help. She was new in Lahore and came her for test. I’ve to pick her from terminal and drop at the examination centre. After test, I dropped her back to the terminal.

4. Uber ride

My sisters were coming from Multan and I know they are brave and sensible enough that they could go from terminal to the hospital at 4.00 AM but I can’t sleep properly whole night for them. When reached at 5.00 AM and I gave them a ride from terminal to hospital and chase the ride in my cell phone. When they reached in hospital, I could sleep only for 1 hour because I’ve to go for Amal session at 9:00 AM.

5. Making tea

After attending Amal session and then shopping, I returned to the hostel at 8:00 PM. I was hell tired as I’ve no energy to eat something. One of my friends has a serious headache issue and she requested me for tea so I made tea for me and my friend.

Though these are all tiring and difficult task to do but at the end I felt contentment that I can help all the people whoever need it. I think same kind of spirit is needed in team work. We have to separate your personal and professional life and show kindness to teammates and other colleagues whenever required. We should have the ability to listen your teammates, understand them, give them feedback and value their opinion so they feel free next time to discuss anything.
