Dear Kas, Check your math! There are four sticks of butter in a pound. Iy your recipe for Whiskey Pound Cake, you incorrectly state (twice) that you only need a Half pound of butter when you are actually using ONE pound of butter. Each stick is a half a cup and you parenthetically state you need 2 cups of softened butter. This requires four sticks (four half cups) of butter. You need a WHOLE pound.
