Back when I was a part of the Houston Metal Scene, I would perform and go to local shows on a regular basis. Those Neo-conservative punks where equally hated by the majority of metal heads. I’m not sure if it has anything to do with Houston being a huge melting pot, but those groups of guys never lasted long at our shows. They had a tendency to start trouble with the weakest looking minority at the venue, but we always but an end to it quickly as a group. Although my day’s in the scene are long gone due to other problems within the scene, I still reminisce about those great days.

An old timer, pulled me aside once at a show, and told me, “You fuck with one of us, You’ll get all of us.” as he proceeded to pick a fight with the same group of people that gave you trouble.
