9 Purchases I’ve Never Regretted

Don’t let the credit-card bill scare you. These purchases will only make you happy, and they’re worth it…

1. Launchpad — I’ve needed a digital journal for my life ever since I got into college, and this app is both beautiful and practical: it’s easy to use, the materials are high quality, and there are so many options for you to customize your own personal planner.

2. A Fitbit — Sure, $150 can get pretty expensive for an accessory that doesn’t really do anything in particular stands out from the rest of your gear (unless you’re wearing it while exercising). But honestly, I am not sure if anything has ever made me as happy as when I started wearing my Fitbit in college…so much so that I got back on the ‘band wagon’ this summer!

3.Camera- I’ve never regretted buying any of my camera equipment because I use it all the time and love taking photos.

4. Weight Watchers Membership -I do wish, however, that my mom hadn’t forced me to buy a lifetime membership to Weight Watchers when I was 15 — but that’s more on her than on me lol.

5) As much as I love my iPhone, the monthly bill is a bit of a drag.

6) I’ve never regretted paying off my wedding band and engagement ring (total cost: $1,100) — even though that was a lot of money for us at the time.

7) I have never regretted buying my first laptop computer because I use it constantly for work and play. Buying a used Apple MacBook Pro in 2006 (brand new version), however, turned out to be a financially poor decision (I should’ve bought it refurbished).

8) I have never regretted buying a vacation home after marriage — especially since it’s our favorite place in the world to visit and just two hours from our house. And even though I don’t use my vacation home as much as I’d like, when I do use it (and rent it out), it makes me money and helps pay for the mortgage!

9) And finally, despite all of the mistakes I’ve made along the way with purchasing things (and people), I’ve never regretted making my best effort to be thrifty.
