I think in certain ways psychological damage can be just as or even more harmful than physcial damage. Many argue that the Milgram is ethical because there was no physcial harm to the subject. I agree with you that a distressed mind or questioned morality can result in long term harm. Like you said with the Stanford experiment, it goes without question that that was unethical. The prisoners recieved psychological and physical harm while in my opinion the guards also recieved psychological harm. Great blog Elizabeth, very informative.
