How about looking at it this way.? It takes longer to buy a car in this country than it does to buy a gun. I have yet to see anyone walk away from a car dealership because it was taking too long. I’m sure it happens, but I’ve never seen it. If people are willing to wait for their credit check and other personal information be looked up for a car, they should certainly be willing to wait for intellingently written background checks for a gun.
