Slavery in America began when the first African slaves were brought to the North American colony of Jamestown, Virginia, in 1619, to aid in the production of such lucrative crops as tobacco. Slavery was practiced throughout the American colonies in the 17th and 18th centuries.

I am not going to waste anymore of my time in telling you of your hateful imaginations and incorrect judgments, after this response.

Chinese Americans are not racists. Peter Liang is not a murderer, while there was no intent to shoot nor kill. The protesters held a moment of silence for Akai Gurley with condolences.

Chinese Americans did suffer from robberies, thefts, vandalism, killings and riots by African Americans. However, we tolerate with actions of staying away from the risks of being hurt/damaged or disturbed, rather than counter attack or revenge. Have you ever heard of any cases of Chinese Americans being killed by African Americans?

That’s our culture. We are not racists.

You have your history of pain and tortures, we have ours. You see many societal issues, we see many too. But, we handle differently.

Politics divide people of interest and that hurts our society. If communities can find common interests and respect differences, the world can be more peaceful, life will be more beautiful.
