Dealing perspective

Growing up I always heard the phrase mostly in a humorous context “consider the source”. In the moment it made me laugh but as I got older and had further experiences in life I realized this is actually a truth in which to live by.

. These times are becoming tough and people are venting coming up with religous theories, social concepts, violent racial beliefs. When we are exposed to these things I believe we should always determine and research where these ideas/teachings are coming from particularly the individual teaching.

. You are a sum total of thought that being said your experiences in life shape how you think and why you believe certain things. Let’s take me for example I grew up with Pentecostal Christian parents no matter what I say when I speak now knowing that you can separate that from my thoughts and beliefs. Let’s say I grow and change my religous stance and convert to Islam you would. still study things I teach and believe from a standpoint that I was raised Pentecostal and became a Muslim, hyperthetically speaking.

I Introduced that thought because of the times we are now seeing. These messages sometimes of hate and anger is coming from real places. If you live a life where you never caught a break, times are hard financially, drugs are rampeded. Imagine you family was disconnected, you never knew your father or mother, you was abused or you seen abuse all your life. You have those different experiences which will give you a certain PERSPECTIVE. So now you grow and begin to study different things your thought process because of you perspective views things in a way other may not. What also can begin to happen other people whom have had similar experiences may gravitate to you teachings/thoughts because they may have similar perspective. With all this being said I think we should know why we live now in a world where a Donald Trump has a chance to be President. All he did was tap in to a type of persons experiences and acknowledge their perspective. It’s interesting how a man whom spent his life creating a narrative of wealth learned to rally up poor white men for support. All he did was speak from their perspective and it touched something in them, he realized their fears and bent their perspective to get them to believe what they felt was right and he can chase it. Now that we know what he’s doing let’s consider the source. He can’t possibly believe the things he’s saying because his own perspective isn’t shape in that way, born rich went to best schools and became richer. A person shaped in this way whether right or wrong can’t have same perspective as a poor man so he has to be Lying . I have no political emotion toward any candidate but from outside looking in I see people are not taking a second to CONSIDER THE SOURCE.

This is the first of five writings on perspective I hope this is received in manner in which it was written All Love.
