Whether this guy is racist or not is completely irrelevant. As the person below asks, if he hadn’t ever posted anything racist, and had simply just made fun of CNN in a meme, would it be okay for CNN to threaten and bully him over it? Millions of people make fun of mainstream media all over the internet. I think CNN, MSNBC, Fox, Washington Post, etc. are all purveyors of half-truths and lies — that’s why I never watch that crap. The fact that this guy turned out to be someone who posts racist and anti-Semitic stuff on social media is beside the point. Why was CNN trying so hard to find out who created the meme in the first place? And let’s face it — if Trump hadn’t retweeted it, this would have never become a story. But if CNN makes threats that they will go after him again in the future if he makes more memes (ie: if he ever makes fun of them again), then what’s to stop them from going after any of us that make a meme that shows CNN in a bad light? Let’s not pretend that CNN actually cares one way or another that this guy is putting out racist stuff. They only care that he is making fun of them. I don’t have to agree with anything this guy might have said in his other posts (I haven’t seen them), to still believe that he has the right to freedom of speech like everyone else. How can it be legal for CNN to basically try to tell him what he can or cannot say on social media? Is it his fault that Trump retweeted his meme? And is it his fault that CNN has lost most of their credibility, as well as their viewers? They are flailing around at this point, and instead of being better journalists, and actually investigating important stories, they’d rather attack average citizens who dare to criticize them.

And how do we even know for sure that this guy is racist? That is just what CNN is telling us. I don’t believe anything they say these days, so we really don’t know for sure if this guy is putting out racist, anti-Semitic stuff. He very well may be doing so, but I wouldn’t trust CNN’s word on it.
