That’s not remotely what this article said, so no, you did not get it right.

The article is pointing out how easily we see misogynistic behavior in strangers, but how we (men and women alike) tend to make excuses and brush it off when it comes to someone we know, love, and/or respect.

She never once says all men are problem; she says no man is immune from potentially being part of the problem, and the fact that we know and love them doesn’t change anything.

Her call to action is not to lecture men endlessly, but to stand up against sexism regardless of the source instead of just laughing it off because “this person I know doesn’t really mean it”.
