“Google Cloud Community Day” was an Annual Event Organized by GDG Cloud Communities for all passionate Developers who are interested to know the power of Cloud and how they can use it. Google Cloud Community Day has an amazing lineup of speakers featuring developer advocates, customer engineers, and architects from Google, Google Developer Experts, and prominent developers and customers speaking how they use GCP.

I have attended the “Google Cloud Community Day Ahmedabad”. The Day starts with the Pleasent weather of Ahmedabad at Beautiful Venue of Ahmedabad University. The Registration Starts From 8:30 AM. And after the Registration, We have a Tea & Refreshments for all The Cloudians. After this Session, We have a Keynote By the Organizers of GDG Cloud Ahmedabad Team and We also Organised Ice Breaking For all the Cloudians for Networking and to Know Each Other. We have a Great Line Up of Expert Speakers and here is the Some Glimpse of all Sessions:
1. “An Introduction to Anthos” By Ankur Kotwal:
First Talk Start on “An Introduction to Anthos” By Ankur Kotwal, APAC Lead of Cloud Developers & DevOps Advocacy at Google. Great to hear New Enhancements on Anthos. He shares with us how we can Modernize Applications using Anthos on Google Cloud. We also have a Deep Dive into Knative, Stackdriver, Istio, GKE(Google Kubernetes Engine), Cloud Run and Much More.
2. “Crafting Monitoring Solutions on Google Cloud” By Jimit Rangras:
Second Session on “Crafting Monitoring Solutions on Google Cloud” By Jimit Rangras, DevOps Engineer at Infostrech. The Session was Based on Fundamental Concepts of Stackdriver Logging and Stackdriver Monitoring. How to Create Monitoring and Operational Intelligence Solution using Stackdriver on Google Cloud? in Brief. The session also includes lot’s of Informative Information Related to Stackdriver and Much More…
3. “Conversation is the new UI” By Lakshya Sivaramakrishnan:
We are Great to have Lakshya Sivaramakrishnan, Program Manager at Women Techmakers. She Talked on “Conversation is the new UI”. This Session Clears all the Fundamental Concepts Text-To-Speech, Speech-To-Text in Dialogflow, and Much More. We also have taken a Deep Dive into Google Cloud and New Technologies.
Plus Point of the Session: And We also have the Most Inspirational Mr. Pichai Sundararajan(Sundar Pichai) Slides in this Informative Session with a Great Mottos on Machine Learning.

I am Jay Patel, Crowdsource By Google Influencer from Ahmedabad. After the Informative Sessions, We had a Great Lunch and The Informative Stall of Crowdsource By Google. We have also Discussed “Open Source Contribution Without Coding to Make the Internet Better Place with Crowdsource By Google” and “How Google does Machine Learning Through Crowdsource By Google”. And I am happy to say all the Cloudians are Enthusiastic and Eager to Know. I also learned many things from them too(That’s why I love to be a part of Community).
4. “Getting Started to Serverless with GCP” By Tarun Mangukiya:
An amazing Session on “Getting Started to Serverless with GCP” By Tarun Mangukiya, Co-Founder of Iconscout. The Session includes lots of Learning with Fun. We have learned about different Architectures, how they work, Advantage of Serverless. The Session also includes a Hands-On Live Demo.
5. “ML on GCP: Design Develop-deploy” By Charmi Chokshi:
“ML on GCP: Design Develop-Deploy” Talk By Charmi Chokshi, Machine Learning Engineer at Shipmnts.com. This Session includes a Deep Dive into Machine Learning Technologies and also Discussed How Google AI Platform makes Easy to take your ML Project From Idea to Deployment. We also Explored TensorFlow, Datalab, Big Query and Many More. I enjoyed this Session.
6. “Opportunities in Cloud” By Rushabh Vasa:
Great Talk on “Opportunities in Cloud” by Rushabh Vasa, Director at Awaz.com, GDE(Google Developer Expert) at Cloud. He Discussed Related Opportunities in Cloud. The Cloud is Growing, there are multiple Opportunities are Being created for Professional and Bussiness. And also discussed related GCP Technologies and Certifications.
The Ending Keynote:
There was a Melodious Guitar Performance Organised by the Student of Ahmedabad University. And After this Beautiful Performance, we had an Ending Keynote By the Organizer Team of GDG Cloud Ahmedabad Team.
Kudos to GDG Cloud Ahmedabad Team for organizing this great Event & special Thanks to Pilot of this Community for taking us in the Cloud :) with a Motto of: “For the Community, By the Community” and also thanks to all Speakers, Volunteers, and Cloudians to make this Event Special. I am also happy to say our Event Hashtag “#GDGCloudAhm”, “#CloudCommunityDayAhm” was trending on the 18th Position on Twitter in India.
Summary:
Every Event should be Incomplete without a Group Picture. This was truly an Amazing Experience Attending this Event. Once again, Thanks to Everyone in GDG(Google Developers Group) Cloud Ahmedabad Community and My Connections who Help me to Push myself. And I am Still Learning …
