Seldom comes a film which is so understated that it is incapable of delivering to its audience a cerebral or an emotional high. Court is one such film which doesn’t rob you of your sleep because you just realised your calling. The monotony of life ingrained in its characters might even make you forget actors’ faces or dialogues by the end of the next day.

But when there’s nothing more left to be frustrated about while trying to bring about a change, Court comes to your rescue. It brings laughter during your most exasperating encounters with the system woven so effortlessly into the film.

At some point or other in life, we face an existential question- whether to continue the struggle to make a difference or to just let the status quo be and move on? The 2015 National Award Winner Court won’t give you an answer. It will you ask the question.
