Spoiler Alert!

For a show with a TV-14 rating, Arcane touches on some mature topics.

Murder, dysfunctional families, socio-economic inequality, sexuality, and more. But seeing Jinx lose it after accidentally killing much of her family, was almost too much to bear.

Her mental illness is a major theme in this show. A very real depiction of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Schizophrenia.

There are multiple scenes where Jinx sees something or someone familiar, and it triggers terrible memories from the night of her biggest mistake.

In other scenes, she hears or sees things that aren’t really there. It’s all in her head. But it feels very real to her.

It’s heart-breaking when you realize that real people are battling with this everyday.
