Breaded Chicken


-4 boneless skinless chicken breasts

-2 large eggs, beaten

-1 cup flour

-½ cup bread crumbs

-½ cup ritz crackers, crushed

-seasoned salt

-garlic salt

-freshly ground black pepper

-4 tablespoons butter


-preheat oven to 350°

-wash chicken breasts well and pat dry with paper towels

-in a small bowl, mix flour, bread crumbs, crackers, salts and black pepper

-dip chicken breasts one at a time, first in eggs, then in flour mixture

-place chicken breasts in a dish and add chunks of butter

-Bake, uncovered for 50 minutes, or until juices run clear when pierced with a fork

What I love about this recipe is that it provides a healthier alternative to fried chicken because the chicken breasts are baked not fried and this dish is very easy to make as there are not many steps. The salts and pepper add a nice flavour to the dish because it gives it a spice like chilli.This dish goes well with a side of salad and sauce of your choice. As Well as providing a healthy alternative this recipe is also affordable as there is not many ingredients
