Awesome read! I’ve definitely battled over whether or not to go to npm for a need. A coworker had a good point though: The npm dream is well maintained modules with a community of contributors and users. If a module is well used, it will be more “battle tested” and if it is well maintained you won’t have to do the leg work of updating the code.
