I’m a young liberal and there’s no way I’m voting for Bernie Sanders

In my mind it’s as simple as this:

  1. Regardless of one’s political leanings, money in politics is at the core of the largest issues faced by our country today.
  2. Sanders is the only candidate who is talking about money in politics.
  3. Clinton is the poster child for money in politics.
  4. My dog is more presidential, and more intelligent, than any of the Republican offerings.

A vote for HRC is a vote for more of the same, is that really what we want or need as a country? Bernie may be naively idealistic, but the reality is that we’re electing a president, not a dictator. Bernie may not be able to enact a lot of the changes he’s proposing, but given the circumstances it’s a step in the right direction.
