Look, I’m not trying to talk shit about Lon. I apologize if I started some sort of lets all pile on Lon thing. I don’t want that, and I wasn’t trying to make that happen at all. I just don’t always agree with everything people say, and I think it’s okay to point that out in a gentle way on occasion. At least I try to be gentle.

In this case, I was extra bothered by the millennial comment because I’ve been hearing the same thing SO MUCH lately. Lon is just unfortunately the one I poured my feels out to, because I believe him to be a very respectable, introspective, sensitive person, and I trust he’ll provide me with a measured response.

I never wish to offend anybody. Eh. Okay maybe I do sometimes wish to offend. I’m a mixed bag. But not this time. Not at all.

What I wanted to do, what I want my little corner of Medium to be able to get back to, is talk it out. I want us to be able to redirect each other, and find people on this platform that actually hear what it is we have to say.
