Okay don’t hate me, but I have actually gotten out of every jury summons I’ve ever received (I’ve gotten quite a few) on a technicality. (In the past, I was either a student, or I moved around a lot.) Moreover, I’ve never really had an interest in serving on a jury. Which is actually baffling considering my addiction to crime dramas. I mean, I know it’s my civic duty and all that, but I avoid courtrooms like the plague. Had some bad experiences when I was younger. A cousin of mine was murdered. My dad was sued over some BS… ehhh… courtrooms are not my favorite place. The only reason I took the LSAT was because my grandmother insisted on it, and paid for it, and I think I got like a 150something, so I just let it drop.
